Just to add to the mix i downloaded the 2.4.0-0.35mdk and found that it
has PPP
dialup working (after insmoding the modules) but no sound (may need to
insmod
also) [direct compile of kernel.org tarball gives sound no ppp
the big question is What version is 35 based on??
TV stop being cute about versions give the kernel.org version
ie rephrase the comments to~
"WARNING this is the 2.4.0* DEVELOPMENT Kernel Use only if you
Know EXACTLY what you are doing or are desperate for hardware support
(has been shown to be more stable than MS release versions but..)
