Hello
Following the advice I have received on the list I decided to upgrade
from
ulysses-3 to odyssey. Odyssey does look better BUT I couldn't get an
internet connection
no matter what. I followed the exactly the same procedure for
installing modem + internet connection used in ulysses-3. The modem
connects to the ISP but nothing else works. Is
odyssey that broken? Or am I missing something here?
I tried to re-install odyssey one more time. On the networking setup I
enter
the data for an internet connection using a modem. Odyssey has an option
in which one
can test the connection. Guess what! It didn't work! Worse, it
requested the reconfigured
the whole thing again.
Please help me out! I had to go back to ulysses-3 in order to read my
emails and
write this letter!!!!
