ClanLib has been fixed days ago, please upgrade. Changelog shows:

No, there has been very little errors due to the compiler itself. Large
majority of errors come from non standard C++ source code.

Anyway, about Pingus: today I fixed compiling of all "my" packages (e.g.
packages that I am maintainer of) and gcc-2.96 issued an internal compiler
error while building Pingus (and xwc).

And, I don't plan to fix it shortly.
