I agree, but was trying to find a middle ground between the two POVs...
Side A: we are sysadmins and dont want telnet, but rather SSH should be 
installed on all by default.
Side B: What about home users who have accounts with no passwords..

While I think that if you have accounts with no passwords, you get what 
you deserve, I can understand the need to support this option for home 
standalone machines (understand != agree).

We asked in 7.1 if people wanted to try Xfree 4... why not ask them if 
they would like to try OpenSSH in the same manner... and put a blurb in 
the bottom help text saying doing so will require passwords, etc etc 
etc...

It seems like a happy medium :)
