Hi all!
I've installed 7.2-final (?) on 2 PCs, and I found something really strange or
wrong...

(1)
Sometimes, casually, installer hangs-up while making RAID device (type 1, 9 GB)

(2)
I could not use the second CD because at a certain point I had 20000000
messages like "segmentation fault", about 1 for each package on the second CD,
while installing. The same packages have been perfectly installed by hand
later!

(3)
I found an entry "idle" in menu --> development. I discoverd (with "man idle")
that it's a primitive system call. It does not work at all (causes a sequence of
unresolved symbol... seg. fault etc.etc.) so I tried to delete it from menu,
with menudrake. The result was that I lost almost ALL the entries in menu, and
even the "exit" voice in WindowMaker... I got out with a "kill -9" !!!

(4)
Again, with menudrake, if I try to change that horrible "question_mark icon"
with something else, I can have 2 possibilities:
        a) Nothing change, even if I work with "root account"
        b) Menu is drastically modified, and I lost entries

(5)
In version 7.1 it took 3 hours to prepare RAID-1 (9GB). In 7.2 it took **45
HOURS** !!!!! But it's not a great trouble... just I had to sleep with a
little noise ;)

(6)
On "shutting down" I get the message
Unmounting Filesystems... /dev/md0 device or resurce is busy... FAILED
So I had to commend by hand some lines in /etc/rc.d/init.d/halt. Now it's ok

I thing it's enough at the moment... I'll tell you more as I'll discover!
Ehmm... I'm talking just about wrong things. I have to say that there are many
wonderful things in 7.2 like MY WHEEL MOUSE WORKS!.... My TV card WORKS... My
Scanner WORKS... and so on for my UDMA-66 adapter!...
We are here to report bugs before congratulations, or not? =;-D

        Claudio
