I did a presentation of Mandrake 7.2 at my LUG yesterday. We needed to boot from floppy first at that was successful, unfortunately the CD detection did not work and requested to Identify the Creative Lab 32x CD connected to the sound card. All listed CD controller where used one after another and all failed to go the CD for further installation process. Any recommendation.
I was able to install on a laptop with AMD K6-2 333, 65 Meg of ram, Win98 pre-installed. Apart from a minor display problem quickly fixed with Xconfigurator, all went well.. This version was a hit with the LUG members with cheers on installation and KDE2 performance and KDE Office.
