On two machines now (out of 12) installed with 7.2rc1, I have had kudzu freeze
up on boot.
On about half of the machines I install this on that have S3 Virge GX video
cards, the X (4.0.1) freezes after clearing the screen. Replacing the card with
an identical one will often fix the problem. Again about half each of the S3
machines (but no obvious correlation) will install and boot in framebuffer mode,
the other half in text.
There's something sour in the installer. In about 1/4 of the installs, if I
elect to choose packages, several random packages fail to install (give error
dialog) for no particular reason and according to no obvious pattern (for
example, cpio, rpm, several others on one install, pysol and jed on another),
but the install works if I tell the installer to go for it without selecting
anything.

I wouldn't touch ActiveX with a 10-foot polecat.
I might, however, let one loose on the developers.
