It's comming for example after moving xmms and after  open gvim maximize it 
and playing with the xmms again.

but one question have u used Xfree 4.0.1 with acceleration as I and my 
friends do????

It could be also a problem with this also now a happen in gnome session (but 
only one time after a long time) ....?
