Hi Florin
First of all, thank you to reply so fast, aside of the bitching what's going
on in the cooker list, I find MandrakeSoft staff most helpfull and great
bunch of guys, and LM is my _favorite_ distro way ahead of any else, (I have
redhat 7.0, Corel 1.2, peanut 8.1, LM 7.2 and cooker on my harddrive).
but back to my problem with dhcpcd, I did a wholesale refresh as of 04/11/00
17:00 and after reboot I got the same error message as before, but for ifup
eth0 the interface came up just fine. I did a network stop and start as well
and both worked. From that point on every time I reboot, dhcpcd works
perfect. i don't know what fixed it, but it is all right now. Mind you I had
to go back to LM7.2, becouse just about everything else is broken in cooker,
I mean most of the KDE 2 stuff, including kmail, the mailer I am using, but
this is not a big deal for me, I know it will be fixed in a day or two.
Thanks again for the help:
