Ok, so I boot the computer up with the 7.2 Install CD (burned from the ISO File, I used 2 separate CDs, each downloaded on and burnt on different computers. Anyways, the spash screen comes up (press F1 for help, Enter to continue with install/upgrade) ... then when Linux boots to go to the install, my computer freezes in the middle of the bootup and says ... hda=Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-1212, Atapi CDROM drive hdb=Creative CD-RW, Atapi CDROM drive hdc=Iomega Zip 100, Atapi Floppy Drive hde=Quantum Fireballp KX27.3GB, ATA Disk Drive ide0=#-#,# on IRQ14 ide1=#-#,# on IRQ15 ide2=#-#,# on IRQ10 *stall here* All the hardware is correct, I don't remember the #'s in the ide part, but I can write them down and post them if you need them... does anyone know how to get around this? I really want to try out Mandrake 7.2, I've heard many good things about it, but I can't get it installed. Oh yes, and one more thing, my computer installed Mandrake 7.1 perfectly the first time (I'm running it right now), so I doubt it's a problem with incompatible equipment... Anyone? Please? Brian
