Hi,
I installed 7.2 on a gateway laptop with 3c575 ethernet card... during boot
up the card services start and a message starting eth0 appears on the
console... The card appears to be up - ie ifconfig shows it up but it isn't
active (the light on the cable is off)... If I eject the card and insert it
again it works fine (and the light is on)
Any pointers on how to investigate this further ??
I setting up some public internet terminal in a library near me with
Mandrake 7.2 and I have the security setting on high.. When it on high the
sound doesn work, does anyone know quickly which permissions I need to change?
Which is the most secure boot manager, ie will default boot an OS unless a
password is enterned to override ?
