Hi2all:
I've been cutting class so maybe somebody else found this and killed
it. I would like to know b/4 posting a bug report.

Summary: Konquerer locks up the system whenever Netscape bookmarks are
attempted to be viewed from the menu item in Konquerer. Only part of
the keyboard and mouse functions are ok, everything else is dead.

I have been converting files from windoz2k. In order to get the
msie5.00.3103 favorites into LM7.2 and use with Netscape 4.75, the
PCmagazine program called 'sync urls' was used in win2k. It reads the
favs folder and builds a Bookmarks.htm file(mine is very Big). I
copied the file to the netscape folder in 7.2 and changed the name to
bookmarks.html . Netscape appeared to like it - no problems.
Konquerer, on the other hand, crashes and burns everytime the
'Bookmarks for Netscape' menu item is even glanced at. I say glanced
because it does not display the bookmarks - it just crashes and
completly locks up KDE.
[Note: I used this same method (changing the .ext from .htm to .html)
before with windoz and N'4.0.? quite a while back - no problems with
it.]
I have tried several tests(too many details to list right now) and it
*always* does it. Note, especially, that I used Konquerer in Gnome and,
although it runs fine, the same problem occurs at the Konqerer
N'bookmarks menu item -> it kills Gnome too.

The only way out is to killX<C-Alt-Bsp> and restart the X server.

The point is that this should not happen -ever- even if the user has a
'corrupt' bookmarks.html file due to his/her own mismanagement.
It's a killer.

Anyone know about this?
