First I've to tell a big thanks to Chmouel Boudjnah : Thanks Chmouel ;-)
The bug that was making my (and some friends that have the same graphics
card) froze the computer was the DRI ....
When the DRI (Acceleration ) is loaded in a computer that own a ATI Rage
128 like me some time the linux box is frozen (after moving a lot windows
for example) .
The solution was found by Chmouel it was the DRI since the DRI is disabled
no crash and I tried and rebooted and retryed nothing , Now it sure,
