[Cooker] about cooker (?)

Hi ,
  I've tried to install cooker but tell me that the version in hdlist and 
hdlist.ordered are different .
so I've 3 questions :
1 - first what are the tests scripts  involved and how could I start them 
witthout restarting the computer and start an installation (to test if it is 
installable) ?

2 - is it installable ? (or no yet)

3 - what is the best mirror I should use ? (I use @ the moment ftp.ciril.fr)
