The KDE Konqueror in 7.2 fails to properly connect to ftp sites, such
as to update your web pages, and therefore is unusable for this
purpose. This all worked perfectly in KDE 1.1, where you could
update your web sites by drag and drop.
There is no alternative way to update remote ftp sites by drag and
drop in 7.2 so I have to boot up 7.1 to achieve this.
Command syntax:
ftp://<user_id>:<password>@<web_site_URL>/<directory>/
My count of big problems with 7.2 is now:
1. Cannot burn CDs.
2. KDE Konqueror cannot access non-anonymous remote ftp sites.
