Sorry for responding so late. I've been out for the US holiday.
I wasn't implying that Mandrake is responsible for Helix Code's bad gdm
RPM, rather that MandrakeSoft could help in providing a fix to Helix
Code (they don't seem to understand that Mandrake is very different than
Redhat and they can't just reuse spec files). Yes, you shouldn't have to
worry about how others package stuff but this really should be a small
issue and quite easy to fix.
