Ok, I may be just a software tester compaired to you hardcore programers,
thats why i am mentioning this.....
How hard would it be to make a compressed easily updateable database of
programs which run under XFree86 and useing that database scan your computer
at will or at set times for new programs and make the aproprate menu
additions to cover the programs.... eather prompting the user for icons or
selecting generic ones....
I think this would be great cause i know im always finding programs on my
system in the console that run on X and i had no idea i even had the
program...
Anyideas?
You could call it like DrakAppScan or something <GRIN>
