No-one said something about a strange fact that I reported:

[claudio@monster claudio]$ df
Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/md0 9070092 2941780 5667576 34% /
/dev/sda1 56184 34320 21864 61% /boot
/dev/md1 15984592 1310692 13861920 9% /home
/dev/sda2 995964 99292 896672 10% /mnt/backup
/dev/hde7 1416656 32840 1383816 2% /mnt/macvol

[claudio@monster claudio]$ df -i
Filesystem Inodes IUsed IFree IUse% Mounted on
/dev/md0 1151904 184390 967514 16% /
/dev/sda1 4294967295 0 4294967295 0% /boot
/dev/md1 2031616 6771 2024845 0% /home
/dev/sda2 4294967295 0 4294967295 0% /mnt/backup
/dev/hde7 4294967295 0 4294967295 0% /mnt/macvol

Indeed I don't know what does it mean "df -i" but someone told me to verify
that I'd not "write out of inode"....

The stange case is that Gnome "disk usage applet 1.2.1" reports other
values...

        / 1.405 GB free
        /boot 21.385 MB free
        /home 1.220 GB free
        /mnt/backup 875.656 MB free
        /mnt/macvol 1.320 GB free

And when I install StarOffice 5.2 it ALWAYS stops for "no diskspace
available", in any devices!!!
My hardware situation is: SDA on 2940U2W, and it's seems to rightly reported.
Eide HD are under UDMA-66 (Abit) controller, but it seems to be right during
installation, it does not hung up... so I don't think it's an hardware
problem.
Can anyone HELP ME??? :(

        Claudio
