Hello, KDE 2.1 is better than 2 but the K menu still behaves very oddly. All the KDE application are listed twice. All other apps. (gnome, X apps. etc.) are fine. When the apps. are listed twice the KDE Control Centre loads but is empty. After some random messing with the KDE Menu Editor the apps. appear once, as they should. At this point KDE Control Centre also works. To maintain this state the Menu Editor must be kept open. As soon as the Menu Editor is closed the menu reverts to its incorrect behaviour. The Menu Editor is completely hat stand. You can't save after additions / deletions have been made. But sometimes the Save option becomes enabled before any changes have been made. (Just navigate around a bit.) The Context menu sometimes has a single selection and others both 'all' and another selection are checked. Sometimes when you make a change in one context it appears in a different context. I must go and take some hallucinogenic drugs ! Owen
