Sorry for the cross-post; but this is an issue for LM7.2 and cooker users
alike...

Since installing LM7.2 the other day, I've been experiencing problems which can
only be considered "race conditions".

For instance, a few moments ago, I was doing my usual Netscape stuff of
triggering pages, switching to another previously accessed one while the new
page was loading, etc. when I found that a new freshly loaded google.com page
would not accept any keyboard input. Fearing the bug which kills all keyboard
input, I switched around a few of the windows and found that the keyboard was
working. Back to the google page and it was now accepting input.

Then, trying to reproduce the problem, I hit reload on the google page, switched
to another browser window and *incorrectly* got the reloaded page into the now
topped page.

I'm fairly convinced there is a serious race condition problem in X because when
I reported that KDE2 was not accepting keyboard input, I noticed another report
complaining of the same thing under Gnome.

PLEASE, if you are experiencing such situations, open a bug so that this gets
some attention and can be resolved for the next release. I'is getting quite
aggravating.

Regards,
Pierre
