Well, yes, I have made it work and you can even seen movies using
xmovies (it doesn't work fine, the frames stop for miliseconds every 3
or 4 seconds, but at least is possible to see the future of linux with 
full multimedia capabilities. And it is possible to read rewritable
CD-ROMS also!!!
But I means that it could be good for domestic users that plus the
automatic installation of kwintv, xawtv and so one, that the future
releases of Mandrake will install also the udf system in a explicit way
(for example with icones to mount and umount this system) and with a
package for dvd movies in the Multimedia Menu.
