Is there any documentation available on switching cooker from 2.2 to 2.4?
I know the 2.4.0 package is in the distro now, but is there anything else
to watch for? Bootdisks aren't always useful when it comes to version
upgrades (the other things that have to be upgraded will sometimes prevent
the system from working with an old-series kernel), and I'd just like to
have as much information as possible before I attempt the switch. Thanks.
BTW, is there a description anywhere as to the differences in the various
kernel packages included with cooker? kernel-pcmcia seems fairly obvious,
but what about kernel-linus (the kernel without any Mandrake patches?), or
kernel-secure (this is the one I'm really interested in)? And why isn't
there a kernel-secure with 2.4.0?
