        Did you have to re-create your menus from scratch, or does kmenuedit scan 
your harddisk, or were the other files (/usr/share/something-or-another) 
that you installed along with it? I also detest the Mandrake menu system, 
and would be most happy to have kmenuedit back (are you Mandrake folk 
listening?), but I'm not sure I want to go to the effort of re-creating 
everything. Maybe we should write to both the KDE and Gnome folks and get 
them to agree on a common system for menus, so that Mandrake wouldn't have 
to try to hack it.
