Maybe wait until Mandrake comes out with the package containing 2.4.0?

If you want to have a go at it: take kernel-2.4.0-0.15mdk.src.rpm,
install it (rpm -i), edit the .spec file (change the revision, Source
file & add a changelog entry) and rpm -ba it.

> And will the .src.rpm ask me all the config questions of the normal kernel build?
Then the "open questions" in the .config file will be asked for. At the
end of the compile, the .config file will be updated back into the
src.rpm. When you rebuild it then it should go in one go...
