Hello all.
I've just re-packaged ant 1.2, and added Xerces-J 1.2.3 and DynamicJava
1.2
Till then find their way into contribs (Lenny, you don't seem to be very
ready to do so, was there a problem with my previous ant package ?),
you'll find them here:
ftp://durruti.univ-reunion.fr/pub/distributions/mandrake/unofficials
Xerces-J documentation has been taken from binary release, as building
it from source is broken, and requires not-yet packaged xalan.
Ant has been completly rebuild, and non-open source sun's jaxp parser
was disclosed in favor of Xerces-J (official name uses an upper case J,
so Xerces-c should also be Xerces-C), but let in spec file as a possible
second alternative.
Next apps coming soon : regexp, JPython, xalan ?, NetBeans ?
For the moment, all java jar file are put in /usr/lib/java, excepted
when this causes problem. Ant, for example has all its scripts
configured to find a given structure ANT_HOME, so i keep this rather
than re-write poorly the scripts... I assume external java file to be
found in /usr/local/lib/java.
Any comments appreciated, as it's a lot of work, and also require some
decisions to be taken.
