OK, despite the fact that that lm_sensors/i2c is broken in
kernel-2.4.0-0.15mdk, I have upgraded to that kernel and I am still
having locking problems between cooker and my Mandrake 7.2 NFS server.
I get O/S errors when trying an application that wants a lock (over NFS)
and the following is logged in my messages file:
Jan 7 02:21:33 pc kernel: lockd: cannot monitor 10.75.2.2
Jan 7 02:21:33 pc kernel: lockd: failed to monitor 10.75.2.2
rpc.statd is running on the NFS server:
root 7316 1 0 Jan04 ? 00:00:00 rpc.statd
and there is absolutely no network traffic (that I can't account for
otherwise) while the lock attempt is being made. This most certainly is
a serious cooker bug!
