For the SMC card, you might be better off with 8139too.o anyway (if
there is one in 2.4, this is all off the top of my head - but I do
remember that someone from Mandrake did the 8139too module). Try...
find /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/ -name "*81[23]9*"
...and see what pops up.
