I've tried expert-upgrade with pcmcia.img 20001223 00:11 - VERSION: Linux-Mandrake
Cooker-i586 20010110 23:45
ftp install with 3CCFE575CT it begin loading stage2,
but stops after choosing which root partition to upgrade (hdb9) when is trying to
mount hda1 vfat partition with many unresolved symbols in /tmp/vfat.o and /tmp/msdos.o
on console F5....
..... and also don't let me do `bug` command... ;o/

I've tried with LM 7.2 (kernel2.2.17-21mdk) on same laptop in other partitions and I
had no problem booting and using that 3c575_cb ..;o)
I think that with kernel 2.4.0-0.14 need some entries in /etc/modules ....I've tryied
with no chance...at best attempt it freeze modprobing 3c575_cb ;o/
or may be new Kernel and Pcmcia-3.1.23 resolve the problem..... (??)
I've tryied also hd.img 20010110 15:18 expert upgrade on P166 128MB AHA-294X Ultra
SCSI ... and I've no problem with vfat partition.... installation goes like a
charm....;o)
