With 'ulimit' bash internal command you can limit the size of any core file
dumped by the shell (and children, the commands you launch).
ulmit -c size: limit the size of core files.

man bash, do a serach (/) for ulimit.

If you want a user not core-dumpin, put a ulimit -c 0 in his profile...
