Go to console 2 and check what is found by "cat /proc/scsi/scsi",
normally these
drive are not shown under diskdrake, only normal installable drive are
listed.

cat /proc/scsi/scsi shows the drive and the /dev/sda /dev/sdb are both
in place but
mnt /dev/sdb /mnt/
gives some sort of error and natch diskdrake does not show the drives
what pray tell is the incatation to get disk drake to show abnormal
installable drives?
does is help that i have a installed system from basically the same cd
(installed is retail beta + update cd | source cds are a cheap bytes 2
disk set)
