Hello,

on a Mandrake 7.2 System (XFree86 4) I get *always* a strange error
message on opening pdf-files with embedded fonts:

 Unable to extract the embedded font
 'Helvetica'. Some characters may
 not display or print correctly.

And acrobat reader displays - nothing! No alternate fonts, just
nothing (er... no FONTS, but graphics). I use the following rpm of acrobat
reader:

$ rpm -qi acroread
Name        : acroread                      Relocations: /usr

An original Adobe acrobat reader tarball also doesn't work.
On other Mandrake systems (7.1/7.2, XFree86 3 or 4) it runs fine. Maybe
there's a env var not set or set to a flase value?
Any suggestions?
Any more info you need?
