[Cooker] How can I set my wu-ftp to follow symbolic links?

Hi all!
Maybe it's a stupid question, but I mount /mnt/cdrom then I make

ln -sf /mnt/cdrom /var/ftp/pub/Mandrake

I give all r,x permission but when I try to get into the directory from 
netscape I've promped with:

Netscape is unable to find the directory named Mandrake....

Is there a way to let users entering this dir?
