Keith,

They do. Yesterday I used MandrakeUpdate and today I'm running
mdk-update.pl (as I write this). Both work fine from my Mandrake 7.2 +
updates + (bits of) cooker machine on my 192.168.1.x LAN connected thru my
firewall machine via dial-up.

By the way, I use a cool little tool called netmasq for setting my firewall
rules. It's a shell script with simple, easy to use config
files. Available from http://pulse.cantonpl.org/carl/netmasq.html, if
you're interested.
