Well Ed, I'm really very pleased for you. I wonder what the difference is?
I just assumed it was XF4 because most of my KDE problems disappeared when I
went back to XF3.
Cooker 1.392 had awful KDE pbs with XF4 on my box - Konsole was unusable,
whichever font I chose, test was squashed horizontally and the cursor start
position in the middle of the prompt -- and KDE needed two attempts to log
in every time.
