Hi

PB:
I constantly uncheck databases when I install yet I get them installed,
mysql and postgresql. In SuSe I know that they use one database for
their documentation, but I have not seen any such information in
Mandrake.

Analysis:
I looked at the Pixel script for updating and noticed that his variables
were defined globally at the beginning. Let us transform this to the
installation, then databases is initially checked or with a shining
star, which I uncheck.

I think that the main line of the installation checks the memory
position for databases and goes on.

This means that the 'forked' process of unchecking the databases, has a
lower priority or has been lifted out of the kernel and ... well I don't
know. But it seems as if the data has not been changed before the main
line continues.

Is this completely stupid?

guran
