On two different systems, the new scripts don't shutdown or reboot the
machine. Apparently, the process choke before unmounting the file systems:
F1: INIT: Sending processes the TERM signal
F12: INIT: no more processes left in this runlevel
Of course, at reboot time comes the feared (for ext2) "/dev/hda1 not cl$ early
unmounted, checked forced"
rpm -q initscripts
