Hello, My problem solved ! Eventually found out that although Logitech wheel mice are still MouseManPlusPS/2 if they are PS/2 they are now IntelliMouse if they are serial !!! Go figure ! (MouseManPlus being too obvious - it doesn't work, MouseMan still works without third button or wheel.) Still very jumpy though ;-) Thanks to www.xfree86.org/current/mouse.html for that little gem !
