Well, now the easiest way to integrate all the docs is in the Help System
(Gnome Help Viewer). Now it handles info:, man:, ghelp:, perhaps one
other entry in the main start page, like 'Package Docs', that when clicked
gives a listing of /usr/share/doc, and lets you dig in that dirs, and a new
type text: or plain:, to show a text file like READMEs and so on.
BTW, I think that using a full featured browser like netscape, galeon or
konkeror is a very big bloat just to see help. I think that the formatting
capabilities of GHelp are (o almost) very suitable for a help sys, you don't
need all the crap a browser con do.
And following this, I miss the entries for Howtos and MandrakeDoc in ghelp.
Really, there should not be a help sub-menu. Just an item to launch ghelp and
select from there.
(perhaps kde people do not like the help browser being ghelp, well, they
can use konkeror. I have managed to get rid even of qt2...)
