I was wondering, from a developers standpoint, at what level Mandrake Linux
is built off of Redhat. Are they developed as two parallel distributions
where Mandrake will resync with redhat? If Mandrake does resync, what do
they resync and what do they work on inhouse, and how often does the resync
happen (each new *stable* redhat release, or as redhats developers are
releasing stuff)? This question was provoked by redhat's announcement of
the fisher beta and I know both projects are open source. Will the next
version of Mandrake be based on Redhat Fisher (which has some strong
improvements)? Thanks and Kudos!
