/ChangeLog/1.412/Sat Feb 10 12:29:44 2001//
Linux-Mandrake Cooker-i586 20010211 10:30
Installation of all packages, clean run.
Configure networking:
Finds rtl8139, but in the very next step shows a widget advertising that
no network card was found.
Ctrl-Alt-F3: missing module 8130too + warning: no network card found at
/usr/bin/perl-install/network.pm line 255
Closed,
fetchmail,httpd,ipchains,ipop3,mysql,netfs,nfslock,postfix,postgresql,usb,usbd,ypbind.
(there could be a button for them who don't want allow external
connections).
HardDrake want change my Logitech Pilot to a Generic PS/2 Mouse, when
ignored I have to reinstall it as generic serial 3 mouse. With the
result of no mouse in console mode.
Finds my HP CD-RW 9100, but is incapable to send that information so
that I get another cdrom icon.
Boot disk O.K. but my mirror is not cleanly unmounted.
Non of the passwd's given during installation is accepted, reboot into
single mode, but the new passwd's are not accepted within X and KDE for
change to su.
Installs network within linuxconf, everything goes nice.
Installs my SB AWE64 PNP in sndconfig, all fine , but is not used during
KDE initiation.
from report bug:
Couldn't find used secure level,
