In my panel I've got a "globe" icon for Konqueror. It's set to execute:
kfmclient openProfile webbrowsing
On your panel, right click and work your way through "Panel Menu", "Add",
"Button", "Networking", "WWW", and then finally "Konqueror Web Browser".
