Hey folks,
I just applied the user-mode-linux
(http://user-mode-linux.sourceforge.net/) patch to the 2.4.1-16mdk
kernel with great ease. It would be nice if there was a "kernel-uml"
(with debugging symbols) subpackage in the kernel specfile.
It should be fairly easy to patch and then unpatch during package
building to produce a kernel-uml subpackage. I have been modifying
a mkrootfs script for building a root filesytem for use by UML and if
UML gets added to the kernel packaging I will be glad to contribute my
"mkroot" script to Mandrake Cooker.
