After updating to kdenetwork-2.1-1mdk I immediately lost Internet. It
turned out, kppp lost suid bit. I have stock 7.2 on another partition -
that saved me.

bor@localhost ~ $ rpm -q --file /usr/bin/kppp
kdenetwork-2.1-1mdk
bor@localhost ~ $
bor@localhost ~ $ sudo rpm --verify kdenetwork
.M...... /usr/bin/kppp
bor@localhost ~ $

I write this after turning suid on again.

If matters - I use MS CHAP and updated with urpmi as normal user. But
obviously, rpm thinks file was modified.
