There's a way to hack FA311.. if you look at my website - http://www.cyest.org (the very first news), I said that I'm gonna modify the driver a little bit from the manufacturer. natsemi.o doesn't work with my roommate's NetGear FA311, I had to modify the code for fa311.o, in 2.2 kernel... however I don't know if his network card will work just right off the bat using 2.4 kernel.
