Hello,
Is anyone having problems playing dvd's with xmovie? I know
that at one point i had it working under Mandrake 7.2. In cooker if
I load the main screen of "The Prisioner" volume 3, the image is on
a diagnal - like a TV with bad horizontal sync. When I play one
of the other files, I get the entire screen filled with like a
quarter of the frame for about 10-15 seconds, then the computer freezes
solid - so that the only way to get it back is to power it down..
not just console access - everything including remote access through
SAMBA freezes.
Am running XFree 4.0.2 with drivers for Trident video
chip set on my laptop.
Suggestions?
