I still have some problems with my ATI Rage 128:

I'm using kernel-2.4.2-4mdk, XFree86-4.0.2-6mdk  and Mesa-3.4.1-1mdk. 

1.  The newer xawtv-rpms from cooker give only a black screen. 
xawtv-3.30-1mdk works only with -fb or as fbtv else the system freezes.

2. 3D acceleration works (gears gives more than 600 fps), but it is unstable.
tuxracer and other 3D apps stop after few minutes with kernel-2.4.1 they even 
produced a system freeze. That's why I think it's a kernel problem.
