Is there any possibility that the entire installation
process could be i486 compatible, with only the packages
being i586 optimized? I'm comfortable enough to rebuild
packages, but not to rebuild the entire installation
procedure. =P

Setting up an NFS share or something with packages I've
rebuilt for i486 is simple, I'd just need the install
disk and second stage stuff.

Is it already i486 compatible? I've never tried it.
