Seeing that rpmdrake doesn't do what I want it to do, ie. select which
updates I want to install *OR* install all updates easily, I take it to
mean, that currently no simple and easy GUI tool is available that did what
MandrakeUpate did - is that right?

Why won't MandrakeUpdate be ported?  It was a great app with great
functionality, which is simply lost!  Please reconsider this decision!
