It *works* on Debian. Just that the last time I used
Debian was a few months ago. Tracking the unstable
tree of Debian without a fast direct connection to the
Internet proved rather a hassle...
The gibberish output in the language selection
drop-down box only comes up in Red Hat 7 and Mandrake
7.2 - have not tried it on any other distro's releases
yet.
