[Cooker] extremely annoying lilo problem

Hello,

        The new lilo looks good - but in order to use it i have to 
boot to windows with a floppy first before it will recognise the
video properly.  When it doesn't, it comes up in text mode - but
when it does it doesn't boot any of the images.  If I boot to
windows, then reboot, lilo comes up ok.

        Is there a way to pass vga mode to lilo when specifying
the image?  It seems to like vga=791.
